A New RUBBERBANDance Group Workshop in Montreal!
RUBBERBANDance Group is holding its first training workshop for professional dancers here in Montreal. Under the direction of Victor Quijada, the company’s founder, artistic director, and choreographer, the workshop will also give the selected participants the opportunity to work with the dancers of RBDG.
Workshop participants can expect 11 days of intense work on the RUBBERBAND Method. Weight distribution around the centre of gravity; agility in the inverse position supported by hands, elbows, and shoulders; and the use of the body as an instrument of multidirectional/tridimensional carving tool for space will all be taught.
